Camp Safe Haven/Live and Let Live
Winneba, Ghana

The Safe Haven Project is proud of its enduring partnership with the Charles Aikins Live and Let Live Foundation, an organization that serves the HIV+ community in Winneba, Ghana and the surrounding area. Live and Let Live serves nearly 70 local children infected with HIV / AIDS and orphaned due to HIV. The organization has secured facilities for an entertaining and educational two-week day camp to be hosted by Camp Safe Haven.
Through fun and informative activities, Safe Haven volunteers work along with local volunteers in developing and implementing the two-week program. Activities range from normal camp-style games as well as educational and training opportunities ranging from computers, creative writing and arts, and tutoring in academic subject areas.
