SpeakOUT

SpeakOUT is a traveling educational program that brings Safe Haven Project speakers to schools, conferences and, seminars all around the globe. The SpeakOUT program is a very important facet of our global educational outreach. Over the years, the SpeakOUT program has been presented to thousands of young people and adults.

SpeakOUT presenters include HIV advocates and those living with HIV / AIDS. Our speakers share their personal journeys with this disease that has claimed and crippled millions of lives. SpeakOUT speakers address myths and facts about the HIV pandemic, the stigma and prejudice so often experienced by those living with HIV, and the need for continued outreach to this segment of the population. In addition, speakers present on the importance of compassionate service, prevention, and the power of the individual to create profound change in the world.

Those who have attended SpeakOUT presentations often credit the program with igniting their interest in community service and helping them acknowledge the great impact one person can make.
