Organizing Committees
The Martha’s Vineyard and North Carolina Camp Safe Haven Organizing Committees are groups of volunteers in those regions who assist with a wide range of tasks, including fundraising, community relationship building, planning activities, and recruiting volunteers.
While the camps themselves last only one week out of the year, it is the planning, organization, and legwork of these committees that makes them happen. There is a full year’s worth of work required for each camp, and every new direction and idea explored by these groups makes the camp experiences that much better.
